Live-in Care and Mental Health
We understand that those living with a mental health condition can seriously affect daily living and quality of life. 1 in 4 people in the UK are diagnosed with a mental health problem and with numbers rapidly increasing, it is important that access to home care and support is available.
At IP Homecare, we understand to stay well and live a full life, people living with a mental health condition often need practical help with day-to-day living. Our Live in Carers or Personal Assistants as they are sometimes known create a support plan unique to each person and are not only there to help with paying bills, shopping, cooking and cleaning to walking the dog. They are also there to help them build their self-esteem and keep them connected to other people and the wider community: such as trips to the park, gym, swimming pool, art galleries, groups and are even there to be with them on holiday.
A Live-in carer is there to care and support them, encouraging their independence and wellbeing.
